hi... would like to ask how much would your mini plants are if i'm getting around 275pcs? and may i know if you have bamboo shoots. please email me for your reply. thank you
miuraplants wrote on Mar 25, '10
Hi Karen. For an order of 275pcs, we give a maximum discount of 20%. As to bamboo shoots, we are not sure which plant you are referring to. If what you mean is the plant in water containers which is mostly stem ( known as the fortune plant), yes, we have this type of plant but ours is mostly leaves with a short stem. It is called dracaena sanderiana. Pls call us at 330-3844/45 for more info. Thanks.

hi! i bought this plant. something's wrong. it's not "drinking" water anymore, i mean its water intake has decreased really significantly, almost four days have passed n the water level is still almost the same, n the leaves are turning yellow. is there a way to save my plant?:(
miuraplants wrote on May 4, '10
Hi. What you bought was the pachira aquatica, or money tree, which is considered one of the stronger plants. You do not have to worry about the plant not absorbing the water, as there are times when the plant needs only very little amount of water and watering takes longer time. But you have to be concerned about the pot not having water for a long time, leaving the pebbles completely dry. On the other hand, we want to know if you had added too much water, blocking all the holes of the inner pot, causing the roots to rot and the leaves to turn yellow. Try rinsing the pebbles and removing all the excess water from the pot every other day, and bring your plant closer to the window. Do it for 1 week and see if the plant condition improves. Call our office at tel nos. 3303844-45 and look for Mia or Barbs for additional assistance.
jiji95 wrote on May 5, '10, edited on May 5, '10
thank you thank you! actually i did that but once pa lang, not every other day. seems like its condition has improved. i think that is what happened. i was out for a few days n left the watering to the maids. i think they did put in too much water. the roots were starting to stink a little. so i guess they're rotten already? i hope i can still save my plant! thanks a lot!!!
miuraplants wrote on May 7, '10
Happy to be of help. Good luck!

Hi Ms. Claire. Thanks for your offer. We'll call you up when we decide to have a separate website. Regards.

miuraplants wrote on May 13, '10
Hi. Sorry for our late reply. The one on the picture is a 9.0cm green plant arrangement. The price is P400 each, and it includes the standard outer pot that we sell. The plant comes in a gift box, but the top is open. You will have to coordinate with our office (tel nos. 3303844 or 45) regarding the lead time, as the plants you chose are seasonal plants, meaning, they are not always available.
jbgonzales0708 wrote on May 15, '10
gaano po katagal magkaroon ng bagong leaves ung plant? nasira po kasi ung leaves ng plant ko and gusto ko magkaroon ng bago para maganda tingnan.. by the way, ano po difference nito sa pachira aquatica -a?
miuraplants wrote on May 16, '10
Actually pareho yung dalawa. Good luck.

may i suggest that you consider potting some herbs besides ornamental plants? basil, rosemary and thyme are used in most kitchens all the time and will be very handy if potted so that you can pick just a few for your salad or roast. it will be good to have these plants handy at the window sill of most kitchens. you might want to introduce a new trend in home gardening by making edibles more available... suggestion lang naman! oohh ang wheat grass planted in a rectangular pot will be good as well kasi its ornamental( magandang centerpiece) and the grass can be harvested for juice... something along that line...

I bought the "Money Tree" a while ago at your Megamall branch. I love it so much that I'm planning to buy more plants from your store soon! Parang gusto ko na ata mag-collect. Haha. :D
miuraplants wrote on Jun 5, '10
Hi Geomilie. Thanks for your suggestions. Actually we have been moving in that (hydro-cultured herbs) direction for sometime now. Unfortunately our experiments have not brought out the desired results yet. We still have to look for a way to keep the herbs healthy on your kitchen table or window sill for a long, long time. But we are working on it. The solution may come earlier than we think. Regards.
miuraplants wrote on Jun 5, '10
Hi Essiren. Thanks for your patronage and comments. You may end up like one of our customers who bought our Pachira (Money Tree) from the Mini size of 6 inches to the Maxi size of about 4 or 5 feet in height. Do enjoy your plants.

i bought a cordyline variegata yesterday at SM Block near SaveMore. since my den was always close door, putting a plant would surely help air quality and add a soft touch. I have a very hard time deciding which plant to buy, maybe providing a list of description for each plant would help us know what we are getting. To take pride and enjoy our plant more. I am planning to buy my next plant.
miuraplants wrote on Jun 10, '10
Hi. Thanks much for your patronage. Your suggestions are well taken. We will shortly put the names and descriptions of the plants on this website. Best regards.
essiren wrote on Jul 3, '10
Hi, I now have three plants from your store. :D The one I bought recently from Robinson's Galleria was Cordyline Variegata with stem. I have a question, can I trim the roots of this plant or any of your plants? I'm afraid that if I cut the roots I might kill it.
miuraplants wrote on Jul 6, '10
Hi Essiren, You may trim the finer roots but better not cut the bigger ones. And do it gradually. Observe any changes before you do the next trimming. Many thanks for your purchases. Regards.

is it possible to place orders of your plants online?
miuraplants wrote on Jul 14, '10
Hi Cristall. Thanks for your most inspiring comments and for recommending our plants on Facebook. You have not only helped us make our products known but have also contributed to the Go Green, Save the Environment Movement. We hope our plants could give you much joy and relaxation and remove stress as many of our customers had experienced. Regarding ordering online, unfortunately we have not set up the system yet, although we have been thinking about it. As to selling the plants in Batangas, we have to find a solution to the problem of delivery first before it becomes feasible. You may contact our office at 02-3303844 or 45 when you are ready. Regards.

Hi. 2 replies were sent to you by PM. Fyi.
miuraplants wrote on Dec 13, '10
Regards.
shielamonette wrote on Dec 22, '10
asap31 wrote on Dec 24, '10
carolloria2000 wrote on Dec 27, '10
My Boss gave me this kind of plant as Christmas gift...
miuraplants wrote on Dec 27, '10
Hi, sorry for our late reply. About half should be OK. Regards.
miuraplants wrote on Dec 27, '10
Regards.
miuraplants wrote on Dec 27, '10
Hi, your boss had chosen a great gift for Christmas. Please thank him on our behalf. Regards.

hi, i just bought this from mega. any tips and tricks in maintaining this plant? nasa orange siya na pot. do I have to wait na maubos lahat ng tubig niya bago palitan ng tubig? at yung tubig hanggang sa white portion lang ng pot or kalahati lang ng white portion? :) thanks!!
miuraplants wrote on Jan 2, '11
Thanks.
anthealkacruzgabriel wrote on Jan 5, '11
wow thank you very much for very kindly telling me to backread. don't you think i already did that. i was asking specifically for this plant because i researched that this plant have very different demands than other plants.

thanks for being kind!

now im regretting buying this plant and the other plants i bought from your company.

Tell your boss, or if you're the boss, yourself, to train you better on customer management.
miuraplants wrote on Jan 8, '11
Very sorry for having caused a misunderstanding. Please read again our reply to you on Jan3. The main purpose was to confirm whether the pot you were referring to was the same as the orange pot shown on the picture above. We had no intention at all to tell you to backread. If it sounded like that, please accept our apology. If you noticed, it would have been faster for us to reply directly on the question you raised than to bring you to a subject matter above. At any rate, regarding your concern about the particular plant you showed on the picture, please be informed that this Sanseveria Cylindrica is one of the strong plants in our collection. It requires very little maintenance. Just make sure there is water in the detachable cup and the level is about half of it and you won't have any problems with it. Many thanks for your patronage. Regards.

so generally po ba dapat up to 1/4 of the pot lang ang pag fill ng water? is this apply to all kinds of plant and sizes of pot? thanks!

Hi, I dropped the plant accidentally and lost about half of the soil pebbles. Was wondering if it can be replenished and how much? Thanks!
miuraplants wrote on Jan 18, '11
Hi. Yung water level na 1/4 of the outer pot with the plant inside ay applicable lamang sa Miniplants. As a general rule, huwag maglagay ng tubig to the point na ang mga butas ng inner pot ay masara completely. Remember that the plants need oxygen too, kaya about half of the height ng slots lamang ang mainam na level ng tubig. Regards.
miuraplants wrote on Jan 18, '11
Sure, you can buy them at our outlets. Price for the small pack is P30. By the way, they are not soil pebbles, as hydroculture does not use soil. We call them hydro pebbles or hydrocorns. Fyi. Regards.

hi. may i ask if it is possible to order 10 money plants yung tig 130 with the same design of pots?
miuraplants wrote on Mar 15, '11
Yes. It is possible. But you have to coordinate with our office regarding the design and availability of the pot that you have chosen and where (which outlet) you want to pick up the plants. Btw, the prices of 2 mini plants have been adjusted since March 1, 2011. The smallest is now P150, and the next size is P200. Fyi.

miuraplants wrote on Apr 28, '11
Hi. The plant on the picture is known as Pachira Aquatica (scientific name) or Money Tree, here in the Philippines and abroad. We do not know how it became known as Money Tree, but perhaps because the word "money" is used, the feng shui experts considered it as good luck. Sorry we are not very familiar with feng shui. Regards.
